My wife and I (Johnnie Pratt and Michele Dryden-Pratt) are looking for an internship/apprenticeship at a farm that has biodynamic farming as its base. We are a mature couple that has property/project management experience (we painted a strip mall in Mesa, AZ; were caretakers of a 10-acre property in Sonoma, CA; and ran a landscaping and janitorial government contract business in NC). We are applying for the 2008 Biodynamic Yearlong Intership at the Pfieffer Center starting in September and would like to have some hands on experience prior to the class start. We are very flexible and hard working fit folks who aim to live our lives from a conscious place. Ultimately we are looking to have our own sustainable farm/retreat center where we can nurture these ideas in other folks--especially kids of color. We do have minimal financial requirements as well as a small dog. Ideally we would like to live on the land in somewhat of an intentional community setting.
