Pioneering Waldorf farm school in Port Townsend, WA area (Olympic Peninsula) seeks visionary fulltime FARMER/FARM MANAGER to operate working farm and shape it as a learning environment. Successful candidate has biodynamic farming experience, qualifications to guide Demeter certification process, a high level of passion and energy, and excellent communication and management skills. Position requires motivating/managing people, teaching apprentices, developing and implementing crop/infrastructure/livestock plans, managing budgets, interacting with students and community members of all ages, and close partnerships with school faculty, community education manager, and volunteers. Sunfield is an 81-acre farm with forests and wetlands, grades K-4 on-site, and is actively building K-8 school campus and farm-based community education programs. Position open until filled.
