With this remarkable series of lectures presented in Koberwitz, Silesia, June 7-16, 1924, Rudolf Steiner founded biodynamic agriculture. They contain profound insights into farming, the plant and animal world, the nature of organic chemistry, and the influences of heavenly bodies. The eight lectures are reprinted here in the “classic” translation made by Rudolf Steiner's English interpreter, George Adams. It features a preface by Steiner's colleague, the medical doctor Ehrenfried Pfeiffer, as well as eight color plates of Steiner’s chalk drawings, four discussions by Steiner, and Steiner’s address to the members of the Agricultural Experimental Circle.
