Bio

Deanna Perlman is a graduate of the North American Biodynamic Apprenticeship program where she had the chance to learn more about raising sheep and processing their wool for spinning and dyeing. At Hill and Hollow Farm in Kentucky and S&S Homestead in Washington she led workshops for all ages about sheep, wool, spinning fiber into yarn, and dyeing with indigo. She currently lives in Monroe, Georgia where she teaches elementary school children about food and gardening and works in a community garden where she helps grow food for low income and food insecure families. She does not have any sheep at the moment but has some indigo plants growing in the garden that she looks forward to experimenting with!
