Jack Byrnes is a 13 year old boy who hails from Alfred Station, New York. There he lives with his parents David and Victoria, his brother Ben, and his sister Makenzie. On their farm, Jack tends to the chickens, helps prepare, soak and harvest mushrooms, weed the garden, and pick and collect apples for cider. Jack attends school at Immaculate Conception School in Wellsville, New York. Jack is a promising scholar and athlete who plays soccer, tennis, and skis. He also loves to sing and dance. When he isn't busy with farm work, school or sports, Jack enjoys reading and drawing. Jack has won several awards, the most prestigious being the Natalie Mattimore Lewis Kindness Counts Character Award.
