Joseph Murray’s educational background includes ta Master of Science in plant pathology, Master in teaching, and a Bachelor of Arts in biology. Joe is a certified arborist, certified utility arborist, and a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification instructor. Joe, a former college biology professor, trains arborists in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US and travels extensively as an invited speaker at horticulture and arboriculture conferences. Joe is in the process of retiring and, with his wife, focusing his energy on growing medicinal herbs and naturalizing habitat for pollinators on a little farm in Burnsville, Virginia.
