Kathryn is an environmentalist and co-founder at Oasis of Change; a food-focused program that brings attention to thoughtful agriculture, intentional eating, and food exploration. Her respect for the environment and desire to be a steward of the earth was sparked while studying sustainable interior design where she obtained her LEED certification. Taking a more thoughtful approach to the way we inhabit and interact with the world around us continues to be at the center of everything she does. Kathryn's ability to create incredible personalized experiences that highlight the world around us stems from her career in tourism, most recently in Washington, DC. It was with great joy that she left a her work with the convention and visitors bureau and moved to Oregon to get her hands dirty and share her love of cooking, herbalism, and wellness with guests of Oasis of Change. Kathryn and her husband Dov are creating fun and enriching experiences by connecting families to a more thoughtful table. Her dedication to sustainable living and restorative agriculture led her to tiny home life where she works as a biodynamic farmer. Kathryn divides her time at Sanctuary Farms, a biodynamic farm in Dallas, Oregon, and is starting a coastal farm at Seal Rock. The coastal farm will serve as a platform for education, and the food produced there a source of inspiration in the kitchen!
