Tarry Bolger has served Demeter in the UK for the past six years as Managing Director. Raised as a Waldorf student, Tarry has extensive agriculture training, including at Emerson College. Tarry had a breadth of farming experience early in his career, including vegetable growing, animal husbandry including dairy, beef herds, and pigs, and he was also a farmer at a Camphill Village in Northern Ireland. Tarry has served as Chairman of the United Kingdom Organic Certifiers Group, Deputy Council Member of IFOAM EU Group, and as an Accreditation Adviser to the Demeter International Accreditation Council.
