Our on-the-farm events are designed to equip Farm Managers, Owners & Operators with real, practical tools to grow better crops using the right systems to balance the chemical, biological and physical properties. What can beekeepers do to help our bees thrive and flourish? This half-day workshop will focus on timely tasks every beekeeper should have in mind to encourage hives to build up and multiply. Following a classroom review of the bees’ cycle of the year, most of the morning will be spent with the hives in the Pfeiffer Center garden.

Bonus afternoon session: After lunch, Bill will lead a walk to one of the bee yards on our farm for an open conversation and demonstration.
