Our on-the-farm events are designed to equip Farm Managers, Owners & Operators with real, practical tools to grow better crops using the right systems to balance the chemical, biological and physical properties. Instructors Gary Zimmer and Leilani Zimmer-Durand will demonstrate best practices for cover crops, soil testing, field preparation, equipment/tillage, weed & pest management, fertilizer programs, livestock integration and more.

This is a practical workshop for educators who are introducing wellbeing, health and hygiene curriculums, parents and soon to be parents, grandparents and caregivers educating and caring for children to 9 years of age.

What can beekeepers do to help our bees thrive and flourish? This half-day workshop will focus on timely tasks every beekeeper should have in mind to encourage hives to build up and multiply. Following a classroom review of the bees’ cycle of the year, most of the morning will be spent with the hives in the Pfeiffer Center garden.
Bonus afternoon session: After lunch, Bill will lead a walk to one of the bee yards on our farm for an open conversation and demonstration.

· Practical training in dowsing and homeopathic potentization
