The Eco-Ag Conference & Trade Show sets the standard for agriculture education with the volume of useful, practical and measurable information you will learn on site. From our intensive all-day Eco-Ag U sessions that start our conference to our shorter workshops on Day 3 and 4, each has a very specific ROI that you will be able to apply immediately back at your farm. In addition, our keynote speakers are changing the world, and help us connect the work we do in our operations to the global goal of a healthy, mature society.
Our on-the-farm events are designed to equip Farm Managers, Owners & Operators with real, practical tools to grow better crops using the right systems to balance the chemical, biological and physical properties. Instructors Gary Zimmer and Leilani Zimmer-Durand will demonstrate best practices for cover crops, soil testing, field preparation, equipment/tillage, weed & pest management, fertilizer programs, livestock integration and more.
Registration is now open for the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association’s 42nd annual conference, Our Time: Essential Links for a Strong Food Chain!
OEFFA's can't-miss conference offers up to six days of learning, sharing, and networking for farmers, gardeners, homesteaders, and others committed to local food, sustainable agriculture, and green living. The event will feature:

“Winter is the time when we delude ourselves into thinking that the coming year will be one of clean fields, abundant moisture, bumper crops and few, if any, problems.”
This sentiment from Vic Madsen, who farms near Audubon, is common fiction we as farmers fabricate in the quiet, rejuvenating winter months. Farmers’ best laid plans are vulnerable to disruption each year: weather, pests and market volatility, to name just a few, can lead to crop and livestock losses and diminished returns.
The Fellowship of Preparation Makers Gathering 2020 will be held at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute on January 30th – February 2nd. The theme is BD 501 and 508: Tools to bring the cosmic light into the earth. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about BD 501 and 508 and get your biodynamic questions answered. The gathering with kickoff with a Chromatogram Intensive. All levels are welcome and invited to the gathering!
