Compost is the key to all sustainable, ecological, organic and biodynamic agriculture, and good biodynamic compost is the centerpiece of the biodynamic method. In this workshop, biodynamic farmer, educator and consultant Jim Barausky will explore the many needs that a farm and garden has for compost, and share several methods of making it. We will discuss the principles and practices of adding the biodynamic compost preparations 502 through 507 to your compost pile, and learn how to put the working of the stars in the garden and field with specific suggestions for compost application.
