Featuring Jim Barausky and Rachel Schneider
Until the advent of the scientific revolution, the earth and the whole of the creation was considered sacred or holy — the manifestation of divine wisdom, the mother or Sophia. We are in a time when many of us are finding anew our awakened relationship to the divine creation. In this workshop we will explore Rudolf Steiner’s attempt to extend natural science into spiritual science, and how this led to the founding of biodynamic agriculture. Drawing from Rudolf Steiner’s Agriculture Course, we will present the essential principles of this new approach to agriculture and then have an open discussion on the implementation of these principles in today’s world.
