Our earth is part of a living cosmos, and is interpenetrated by cosmic rhythms and vital forces that come from the sun, moon, stars, and other planets of our solar system. The biodynamic practitioner is a mediator artfully working to harmonize the terrestrial and cosmic influences and thereby create an enlivened environment for plant growth. Each farm or garden becomes an ecological organism – an expression of the great cycles and rhythms of life. At the foundation of the biodynamic approach there also stands a spiritual practice that leads to deeper understanding and insight of these subtle realities. This is an inner path that supports the development of a greater capacity of awareness. During our session we will discuss the fundamental principles and methods of biodynamic agriculture, as well as explore and practice exercises that support a new level of heart-centered cognition that opens us to a deeper aspect of ourselves, our work, and to the living being of the earth.
