The conference will take place at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach (link is external), located at 909 North Hayden Island Drive, Portland, OR 97217.
Portland is located on the northern end of the Willamette Valley, in the heart of the Pacific Northwest — a two-hour drive from Eugene, OR; 2.75 hours from Seattle, WA; 5.5 from Vancouver, BC, 6.5 from Boise, ID; 8.5 from Missoula, MT; and 9 from Sacramento, CA.
From I-5: To reach the Red Lion from I-5 north or south, take exit #308 (Jantzen Beach exit). The hotel is located on the east side of the freeway.
From Portland International Airport (PDX):
- Take Airport Way East to I-205
- Take I-205 North toward Seattle
- Take Highway 14 West to Vancouver
- Take I-5 South into Oregon
- Take the first exit over the bridge (Exit #308)
- Turn right and go under the bridge
- The hotel is on the left

To Portland: Portland International Airport (PDX) (link is external) is served by AeroMexico, Air Canada, Alaska, American Airlines, Boutique Air, Condor, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian Airlines, IcelandAir, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, SunCountry Airlines, United, and Volaris.
To get to from PDX to the Red Lion, you can take the complimentary shuttle, rent a car; take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft; or take a bus service. The hotel is 11.6 miles from the airport. See this list for available transportation options. (link is external)
Complimentary shuttle to the Red Lion:
For arrivals on November 14 and 15, the Red Lion will provide a complimentary shuttle service from Portland International Airport, 7:00 am - 9:00 pm PST each of these days.
Once you have arrived at the airport and gathered your luggage, please call the hotel at (503) 283-4466 for pick up at Island 1 outside of baggage claim on the ground floor. Please allow for wait time as the hotel is located 25 minutes from the airport; wait times will be determined by traffic and or weather.
Complimentary return shuttle to the airport will be available on November 17-18, 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. The shuttle will leave the hotel at the top of the hour for the airport. To reserve your seat on one of our shuttles, please speak to the front desk 24 hours before departure to reserve your seat.
Portland is located on the following Amtrak routes (link is external): Cascades (Vancouver, BC to Eugene, OR), Coast Starlight (Seattle, WA to Los Angeles, CA), and Empire Builder (Chicago, IL to Portland/Seattle). There is a station in downtown Portland (link is external) and across the river from the Red Lion in Vancouver, WA (link is external).
There is a Greyhound bus station (link is external) in downtown Portland.

By Bike: Portland is also known as a great biking city. Biking information and maps are available here. (link is external) Please note that the Red Lion is located on Hayden Island on the north side of the city and is not easily accessible by bike routes.
