Stephen has been a biodynamic farmer working in Camphill communities for over 27 years. The first 15 years he farmed at Honey Bee Nest farm at Botton Village in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, where he and his wife raised a family. He and his family then moved to the US, and he has spent the last 12 years as the farmer here at Camphill Village, Copake. Both these farms center around a small dairy herd, but also have/had sheep and pigs. As well as overseeing these farms, he lives with people with developmental differences in an extended-family setting. Stephen brings his long experience of dairy farming as well as his reverence for the land and animals that are in his care.
