We are excited to be holding our conference at the beautiful Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, which sits on the shores of Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. Originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Monona Terrace was also the first convention center to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. (View location on map.)

Pre-conference events on Wednesday, November 14, will take place at Angelic Organics Farm, a biodynamic, community supported (CSA) farm. Angelic Organics is also home to both Farmer John Peterson, star of the documentary The Real Dirt on Farmer John, and Angelic Organics Learning Center, a non-profit educational organization that offers educational, creative, and experiential programs to the regional community. (View location on map.)

Madison

Madison, a thriving university town and one of the country's most progressive and livable cities, is surrounded by more community supported agriculture (CSA) and organic farms than almost anywhere else in the U.S. It is also only 1.5 hours to East Troy, Wisconsin, home of the Biodynamic Association's main office; the Zinniker Farm, the oldest continually operating biodynamic farm in the U.S.; Michael Fields Agricultural Institute; and a number of other biodynamic farms. See Getting There for more information on how to get to Madison and local transportation options. For information about the thriving CSA community around Madison, visit the FairShare CSA Coalition.
