Common Hands Farm is looking to take on 4-5 season long apprentices for the 2013 season. We are seeking season long interns who would receive a weekly stipend, and could have the option of either living on the land in one of our caravans or collaborating to rent a cheap farm subsidized house with other interns and employees.
We are looking to create a diverse and multi talented team for our 2013 season.
We prefer applicants to have some practical work experience, and most of all a strong work ethic.
Above all, applicants must have a good sense of humor and striving towards fun and enjoyment.
The season runs from March through the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. apprentices work 5 days a week most of the season Some flexibility can be arranged.
We are a fun group of young farmers in a thriving community of local farms, young farmers movements, and a strong community in an area rich with art and creativity. We farm using all organic methods stemming from permaculture and biodynamics and we share a lot of practical knowledge in these fields that we seek to pass on
