Turtle Creek Gardens is a certified organic and biodynamic mixed vegetable operation serving a CSA market, direct markets to restaurants and stores including an on-line farm store. We grow approximately 40 different vegetables that serve a diversified marketing strategy as well as value-added products for our marketing channels. We also grow an assortment of fruit and berries. Biodynamics methods are applied which include design and establishment of hedgerows and perennial plantings, incorporation of manure and compost and biodynamic field sprays and compost preparations. We do make some of the BD preps on the farm. Turtle Creek is also an educational farm that offers educational opportunities for interns and employees through CRAFT, BDA Apprenticeship Program and on the job training. Special interests or projects will be considered upon discussion and approval of farm manager.
Interns will be assisting in transplanting, greenhouse, harvesting, weeding, washing and packout and CSA packout.
