Newbie farmer wanting to learn a biodynamic way to convert timber land into pasture.

We are in the process of buying land for our start-up Intentional Community. On our prospective land, there is a lot of forested/ timber land that will need to be cleared in order to grow pasture for cattle.

Besides the conventional ways of using lime and ash, is there a way to get it cleared and pH balanced, with enough nitrogen to grow grass or clover?

My thought is to use goats to clear the ground cover, and chickens to fertilize and add nitrogen. Will this be enough for get acidic evergreen soil to alkaline soil?

Any other thoughts?
