Fall Gathering - Making the Dandelion and Chamomile Biodynamic Preparations

We will gather on the land of Lucretia Woodruff, a 12 acre farm in Brunswick. Lucretia grows an abundance of crops along with medicinal herbs and poultry. On this day we will ready our dried dandelion and chamomile flowers for their winter transformation. The dandelions will be mounded, wrapped and sewn into a cows mesentery while the chamomile will be stuffed into the intestines. Both will be buried and allowed to be transformed by the winter forces. The making of these Biodynamic preparations with a group is a wonderful opportunity to share and listen to personal insights and ideas on this practice. In September you will receive a list of optional readings on these preparations and the crystalline nature of the winter season and I ask everyone to forward suggested readings to me either as a link to an article or a book title.
