Introduction to Bio-Dynamic Beekeeping

This is an introductory course in to the world of Bio-Dynamic Beekeeping. We will learn about the basics of beekeeping, the relationship of bees with the natural world, bees within the cycle of the year, the importance of swarming, why naturally drawn out comb is best, why naturally raised queens are necessary and the magical & healing gifts from the hive. We will also touch on the health and feeding of colonies. We will visit the bees, and if weather allows us we will open the hive and discuss what we find. Please wear light clothing, it may be hot out.
