NOFA-NH 2014 Winter Conference

12th Annual NOFA-NH Winter Conference
“We Are All Farmers: Seeding a Common Soil”

Saturday, February 1 & Sunday, February 2, 2014
Rundlett Middle School, 144 South Street, Concord, NH

Please join us for the 12 annual NOFA-NH winter conference, to be held at Rundlett Middle School in Concord, NH on February 1 & 2, 2014. We are excited to welcome folks to a fantastic weekend full of workshops, farmer intensive sessions, keynotes, our Green Market Fair and much, much more! This year’s theme, “We Are All Farmers: Seeding a Common Soil,” reflects the swiftly-moving current of today’s food movement and the demand for safe, healthy, local food for all. As time moves on, it is becoming clearer that this movement relies on many different groups working cohesively and simultaneously together, including farmers, homesteaders/gardeners, consumers, educators, advocacy and policy makers, health practitioners, and others. We hope our 2014 conference can be a gathering place for the members involved in this movement and the work we must continue to do as pieces of one whole local and global community.

The goal of the NOFA-NH winter conference is to facilitate and foster learning and sharing of information on all aspects of local, sustainable and organic food production, marketing, and consumption. Our conference is our largest organic education event of the year, with more than 40 workshops geared toward all levels and interests in farming, gardening, land care, herbs, food production, farm planning and more.
