Sunday June 22, 2014, 10- 4pm
Come join us for our annual summer work of making Preps 501 and 502. Preparation 501 is a polarity to the preparation 500. Here we work with the mineral forces of Silica, crystal, finely ground into a cow horn.
Preparation 501 is related to all things that grow above ground and attracts the qualities of light and warmth to our plants and land. Preparation 502 is a compost prep made with Yarrow blossoms and a Stag bladder. It helps us to regulate potassium and sulfur in the compost pile and in our soils.
10am - Learn how to make Preparations 501 and 502 (Horn Silica and Yarrow Prep)
12:30pm -Potluck Lunch (Please bring something)
Afternoon - Evaluation of Preps in storage-
- Touring BD storage facility/set-up
- Continuation of preps 501 and 502 as needed
- Discussion / information of the practical uses of 501 and 502
This will be a great opportunity to continue to dive deeper into the making of the Preps, the learning of their ways and the connections between fellow farmers and gardeners! Let's join the conversation! This too, will be a great meeting to learn about storage practices as well as deepening our sense for quality preparations.
