The Portland Plant Medicine Gathering is a yearly conference taking place in Portland, Oregon. It is an opportunity to share knowledge and skills, to celebrate the plants, and honor their medicine. A large part of our focus is on local plant life and local teachers but we like to bring in teachers from other places as well! We aim always to keep the Plant Medicine Gathering as affordable as possible and offer a sliding scale, scholarships, and a lot of work trade positions.
This conference is rooted in anti-oppression, social justice, deep ecology, intersectional feminism, and queerness. We welcome diversity and encourage all types of folks to join us! This conference was founded in the summer of 2009 by Nicole Pepper and Scott Kloos in an open meadow on Mt. Hood.
A full weekend of workshops on community care, radical health, herbal first aid, plant magic, flower essences, medicine making, ethical wild-crafting, botanical identification, herbal gardening, and more! Together we celebrate the beauty and strength of plants, community, and our wild hearts.
We aim to keep the Portland Plant Medicine Gathering as affordable as possible by offering early bird prices, scholarships, and work trade.
