Join us as we take a tour of Riverbound Farm, situated along the Missouri River bottoms south of Mandan, N.D. Riverbound Farm is a draft horse-powered organic vegetable CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) serving more than 200 local families fresh vegetables for six months out of the year. Visit with farmers, Angie and Brian McGinness, as they show you around on a lazy, late summer afternoon on the farm.
Riverbound Farm is located in Mandan, N.D. on the edge of the beautiful Missouri River. Brian and Angie specialize in growing certified organic vegetables with an emphasis on sustainability and community building. The farm is located 9 miles south of Mandan on Hwy. 1806, near Fort Lincoln State Park. Pasture land, fields, cottonwood forest and the river all merge together there. The farm is a unique and wondrous place. Homesteaded by Angie’s great-grandparents and lived and farmed on for generations, they now find it a great privilege to call this place home. Brian and Angie welcome CSA members to share in the beauty and bounty of their home. Organic vegetables, all-natural meats and eggs are also available for their CSA shareholders.
