The Sacredness of Honeybees
Bees were once thought heavenly messengers, an expression of the wisdom in the universe, a spark of cosmic consciousness and a gift to the world. The oneness of the bee colony reveals the interconnectedness of the world and of ourselves within the world. When bees became a commodity of modern agriculture, this deeper understanding of their true nature was lost. Our bee-centered approach can help us re-establish a reverent and respectful relationship with them.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the depthful world of honeybees on our biodynamic-organic farm in a rural village in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by tens of thousands of happy bees. Jacqueline will share communications she has learned from the bees, how they sense the world and the beautiful spiritual mission they are on. This two-day class includes practical information about caring for bees, too. An additional optional discussion day (Mon. Aug. 5) is for students who want to speak about how we can integrate this information into our own bee care methods.
Two days Aug 3-4 $195
Extra discussion day Mon. Aug 5 - $75

What We'll Cover
As many of you know, for the past two years I have been writing a book on honeybees and their roles and relationships with the world. It's based on deep communications I have had with bees and many, many hours of being in their company.
Most of you by now have seen the documentary "Queen of the Sun." That movie woke a lot of people up about how conventional agricultural methods are decimating bee populations. The movie also introduced people to biodynamic beekeeping and beekeepers (I'm the swarm catcher) who have made commitments to caring for bees in ways that encourage their health and growth. To support the movie, the director and producer asked a few of us to write chapters for the book of the same name. After being told for years that the drones are just lazy honey-eaters, I wrote about the holy role they play within the colony.
More topics for the class include
The Queen -- Her life from a piping maiden queen to the mated fully ascended Queen
The Swarm -- Preparations within the hive, how the Queen participates, why the swarm moves as it does, how they choose a new home
The Drones and their sacred tasks
The Maidens (what most folks call 'worker' bees) -- Building the world anew each day in a dozen ways
Light, Heat, Temperature & Scent -- Magnificent use of their senses and how they modify their environment
Honey, Propolis, Pollen & Wax -- Deeper purposes of each for the hive and also for human health
Bee Health -- From birth to CCD and all the challenges in between
Spiritual Evolution -- How they progress our world with matter, energy & transformation
We'll be in the midst of bees during the class with time for communion with them, surrounding and immersing ourselves in a glorious environment of love.
