Farm Crew Internships
If you don’t have any farming experience, you can apply for an unpaid Farm Crew Internship through Sierra College, Rockland CA. The Summer 2019 internship runs June 1 – August 3rd (9 weeks) and can be taken at any of these levels:
• 1 unit (equivalent to 60 hours / 6.5 hours per week for 9 weeks)
• 2 units (120 hours / 13 hours per week for 9 weeks)
• 3 units (180 hours / 20 hours per week for 9 weeks)
• 4 units (240 hours / 26.5 hours per week for 9 weeks)
Internships are also available for the fall semester, August to December. It is also a possibility that internship host-farms may offer paid positions to summer interns for the remainder of the season. Tuition at Sierra College is $45/unit. Upon acceptance into the internship program you will be enrolled in the Farm Crew Ag Skills courses for the period of your internship. The costs will be provided by your host farm.
