Orchard Farm Organics is seeking volunteers and interns for the 2020 growing season. We are able to offer board and lodging and a small stipend. Please contact email@example.com
About the farm:
Orchard Farm Organics is a 61 acre land that surrounds on three sides the 20 acres of the Waldorf School of Princeton. Farm consists of about 5 acres of permanent raised beds, a large pasture with a small herd of cows and goats, three flocks of free range chickens and meadows, forests and riparian areas. We have a small CSA, egg co-op, and take our crops to several local markets. We have a certified kitchen for added value goods connected to our farm store. We are certified organic and are practising biodynamics. The farmhouse is also a meeting place for various events and anthroposophical study groups. The farm is 4 miles from Princeton University, a wonderful cultural hub. The owners Robert and Caroline Phinney are working with a non-profit The Hearth Center to find a good way to tranfer the farm to future generations, to preserve the land and realize its potential in an economically sustainable way.
