Camphill Village Kimberton Hills Seeks Apprentices for Our Dairy Farm and Sankanac Garden CSA

Garden interns to learn biodynamic agricultural techniques by working on our 15-acre garden farm. Interns will take part in all areas of gardening and running a 100-share CSA. The garden farm is a diverse seasonal mix of vegetables, flowers, herbs, fruit and livestock. Our head gardener Sebastian and his wife Lael head a 10-person farm crew that consists of 3 interns, six special needs villagers and one additional coworker. We use the methods of biodynamics to enhance soil fertility and provide high quality food.

There are two internships from March 1 to the end of November, enabeling the interns to experience the full richness of the growing season. Room and board and a stipend are provided for both positions. American interns are eligible to register for the Americorps Education Awards program which earns $4725 towards educational expenses. Training opportunities in Biodynamic Agriculture are offered throughout the internship.
