Dana Burns is a veterinarian from southeastern Wisconsin. Her passion and life's mission is to facilitate healthy relationships between people, animals, and nature. This has led her to work with farm-based education, holistic medicine, and agriculture. She co-founded A Week on the Farm in 2000 and founded Healing Traditions Veterinary Services in 2009. She lives on a small acreage with her veterinarian husband where they have bred and raised multiple species of livestock and home schooled their 2 daughters in a Waldorf-inspired home school cooperative. The Burns family has established residency in New Zealand where they live part-time, also working with agriculture and holistic medicine. Dana is the coordinator for FBEIBA (Farm-Based Educators Inspired By Anthroposophy).
