For anyone working in agriculture, the capacity to be attentive and to observe the life of the garden or farm in its manifold aspects is crucial. We will practice and discuss different kinds of exercises that can help to enhance attentiveness and perception.

What is the importance of inner development for a truly sustainable agriculture? What faculties do we need to cultivate to help, for example, the individuality of the farm organism to develop over time?

This is a pre-conference event for the 2012 North American Biodynamic Conference, which will continue from November 15-18 in Madison, WI. A bus will be available to transport participants in the Mentor Farmer Gathering to and from Madison.
