Explore the life of the Biodynamic farm with us.
At each solstice and equinox BDANC members and friends explore a unique theme through experiential activity, we study, eat great food, and we create the Biodynamic Preparations that will be needed for Northern California in the coming season. These medicines realign Nature with the cosmos.
The one day tasting event will feature a collective of producers showcasing wines with a future-focused approach to farming from the historic Sonoma Valley.
Join us at Paicines Ranch Vineyard for an immersive half-day field day exploring sheep grazing as part of a complete regenerative ecosystem approach to winegrowing. This interactive gathering will be led by Kelly Mulville (Paicines Ranch), Tommy Fenster (UC David / Ecdysis Foundation) and Chris Storm (Starr and Storm Crop Solutions) and will show how strategic grazing creates beneficial reciprocity throughout the entire vineyard system—from soil microbiome to wildlife habitat to wine quality and terroir expression.

There is something truly awe-inspiring about witnessing honeybees flying in and out of their secretive wild abode nestled within a tree. Honeybees have been intertwined with trees since ancient times and constitute an evolutionary system. However, nowadays, when one thinks of a “honeybee hive,” the first image that typically comes to mind is a white box in an apiary.
Save the date: June 21 - June 22nd: The BDANC Summer Gathering will be at Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm, in Santa Rosa. Theme: Life in Farming as well as the plants Valerian and Stinging Nettle - More information to come!!!
This national gathering will bring together food systems leaders, farmers, academics, and advocates to tackle pressing environmental, economic, and health challenges. With over 500 attendees expected, the event will feature inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops, local field trips, and networking opportunities—all designed to strengthen and reimagine our food systems movement.
