Bio: Dan Ditzler has been working in the biodynamic food industry for the last twelve years. Originally from Delaware, Dan found biodynamics in the vineyards of northern California in Sonoma County. He learned how to make the BD preparations and began the journey to learn more.
He brought his love for fermenting things to seven stars farm where he works now helping to make the yogurt and BD preps the compost piles.
This is Dan's first trip to the Chesapeake Biodynamic Network and he is coming on behalf of the
Fellowship of (BD) Preparation Makers who will be hosting their annual gathering this January 22 - 25, 2026 in Southeast, PA (Kimberton, PA).
Dan is going to talk about working with the living earth, why biodynamic food is so important, and how to work with spirit and the spirits of the land to make nourishing food and evolve human consciousness.
