Living Lands Seeking Stewardship Partner
Living Lands Trust is now accepting proposals for the operation and stewardship of 50 acres of farmland with a house and agricultural infrastructure through a long-term (15 years+) lease arrangement. The farmland, referred to as the North Farm, is located at W2857 County Road ES, East Troy, WI. Proposals for becoming the next operator and steward of the North Farm are due by September 15, 2025.
By leasing protected lands and buildings to farmers and regenerative land stewards under long-term agreements, Living Lands provides the opportunity for emerging farm businesses to develop without the burden of mortgage debt, while also protecting and improving vital farmland. Living Lands seeks applicants whose farming philosophies align with and complement our vision:
“Through regenerative land stewardship and centering community, we catalyze sustainable, place-based economies which cultivate reciprocal relationships between people, place and community.”
