Our Table Cooperative is a multi-stakeholder cooperative composed of three different interests along the food production chain: workers on their farm, regional producers, and consumers. Our Table is based on 58 acres of land located about 15 miles south of Portland, raising certified organic vegetables, berries, apples, and pastured chickens and eggs, and working toward Demeter Biodynamic certification. At the center of the farm is a grocery and kitchen, offering food from the farm as well as regional producers who are members of the cooperative. This field day will include tours of the farm and facilities and an exploration of the many dimensions of cooperation that Our Table models.
On-farm lunch and bus transportation are included in the registration fee.
Much of this event will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress for inclement weather and wear sturdy shoes.
