Adorn yourself with Dandelions and come to celebrate with this golden friend of the farm . We held this annual festival to tell people goodness of this plant. All part of Dandelion flower leaf root are edible and has medicinal quality therefore , let us stop spraying harmful chemicals on them. This will help pollinators, wild animals, and us, reduction of toxic chemicals entering our soil, aquifer, We have Educational workshop, Live Music, Face Painting, Flower Crown making, Crafts . Let us have a good time with sweet golden friend of farm. 

An opportunity for our students and friends to join us in the art of making festival at the Spikenard Biodynamic Honeybee Sactuary... a wonderful learning experience with the chance to renew our inspirations and communal connection with the cycles of the year, including three days of special lectures, deepened beekeeping and observational experiences, artistic work, stirring the preparations, and a festival celebration. We will also be honoring and celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Rudolf Steiner's Bee Lectures given in 1923. Snacks and lunch are included each day.

Come celebrate the dandelion with us !! All are invited to the farm to enjoy a dandelion harvest and learn more about this important and often overlooked plant. Though commonly dismissed as a weed, Dandelion is hugely beneficial to soil health, honeybees and people.

Join Jeff in making preparations in the barn, or take in workshops with wonderful presenters. The theme this year is "The Art and Science of Good Living", and presenters will share information and experiences in a full range of technical and creative endeavors.

Meadowlark Hearth Farm is having their annual seed festival on Sept 4.  It is a day of hands on with the mainly 8 vegetable families often grown in northern temperate climates i.e. harvesting, threshing, cleaning and generally accessing information about vegetable seed growing including biennials as well as annuals  in thinking about isolation and population for seed variety integrity.  The uniqueness about MH's work is with biennials, finding ways to overwintering biennials to grow to seed in a zone 4 climate.

“Heal our Planet with Hallelujah 500!” – formerly named “Spray and Pray for the Earth!” – is a global biodynamic and eurythmy initiative open to all the farmers, gardeners, eurythmists, eurythmy lovers, and anyone concerned for our Mother Earth. We employ biodynamic preparations and eurythmy for an approximately 24 hour period towards healing our Planet Earth
