Where and when is the conference?
November 14-18, 2018 at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach in Portland, Oregon. Pre-conference workshops and farm tours are Wednesday, Nov 14 and Thursday, Nov 15. The conference opening celebration is Thursday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, and the main conference is from Thursday evening, Nov. 15, through Sunday lunch, Nov. 18. See the Conference Schedule here.
How much does it cost to attend?
There are different rates for different events throughout the conference, as well as early bird registration discounts. Review our registration rates.
When is the registration deadline?
You can register online, by phone, or by mail through Thursday, November 1.
Early-bird rates are available between Wednesday, August 1 and Thursday, September 20.
Walk-in registration will be available starting Wednesday, November 14 at the Red Lion Inn Jantzen Beach.
There is no registration available between November 2-13.
All registration periods end at 11:59 pm PT on the date listed.
Can my organization sponsor the conference or have an exhibit table?

Are there discounted hotel rooms? What about budget accommodations?
We have negotiated discounted rates at the Red Lion Jantzen Beach. See our Location and Getting There pages for more information.
If you are on a budget, consider sharing a room with another conference attendee (or two or three). A room sharing forum to help you connect to others will be set up soon.
Can I bring my children? Do they have to register? Do kids get a member discount?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your children! All children must be registered for the conference. When you register online, by phone, or by mail you will have the option to register your children at the same time. Children ages 6-15 attend at special discounted child rates, and also can get meals at a discounted rate. Children 5 and younger attend free but must be registered. We are not able to give member discounts or any other discounts on children’s registration. See our Children at the Conference for more information.
Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free/other dietary options?
Yes, a variety of dietary restrictions can be accommodated at all conference meals. Please indicate your needs on the registration form, and if they’re more complicated to relay, please contact us at registrar@biodynamics.com to discuss options. We are happy to meet all needs!
