Hawthorne Valley's Harvest Festival is back on Saturday, October 10, 11am–3pm!

For more than 25 years, this free festival has brought together everything Hawthorne Valley stands for — farming, ecology, education, art, and community — for one big autumn celebration. Thousands of neighbors and friends make it part of their fall tradition, and we can't wait to welcome you back.

This year's lineup includes fan favorites hands-on kids' crafts, hay rides, fresh-pressed cider, our Roots & Relics Market, and more. Add in local food, live music, and the crisp October air, and you've got a perfect day on the farm.

Rain or shine! If severe weather threatens, we'll post updates on our website and social channels the day before.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (tentative)

All Day: Roots & Relics Market, Live Music, Food Vendors, Hay Rides, Educational Booths and Displays
11am: Guided tour with Farmscape Ecology Program of the new Creekhouse Loop of the Biodiversity Trail
11am, 1pm, 2pm: Puppet Shows: Magical Puppet Tree and the Early Childhood faculty present, "Journey Across the Sea." In this beautiful Hebridean tale, a young child braves a sea dragon to carry seeds of wonder from a magical garden to barren lands beyond. With music by Scott Esty. Tickets: $5 available starting October 5 at Turose school store, or at the door. To be held in the Morningstar Kindergarten Theater
11:30am and 12:15pm: Guided tours of the School. Registration requested using this link.
1pm: Creature Council Parade - If the creatures of Hawthorne Valley could speak, what would they say? Find out at the Siena University Creature Council booth and Parade - student-made animal masks bring the farm's wild residents to life.
1pm: Pie Contest Judging Followed by Pie Sale (drop off your entry at the Dining Hall anytime between 11am-1pm)
