This is three-day workshop is one of four modules of our Spikenard Biodynamic Beekeeping Training (SBBT). It can be taken as part of the full training or as a stand-alone workshop experience.
The Fall workshop is all about hive health and how to support the bees to make it through winter. Hands-on beekeeping experience encompasses hive checks and consolidation, hive feeding, and insulating for winter. It also includes detailed instructions on our very successful biodynamic approach to varroa and other “pests” and ensuring a healthy hive biome.
8:30 am – 5:00 pm daily
Wonderful home-cooked, organic lunches and snacks are provided.
