Ranch General Manager for a large family-owned Ranch on the island of Molokai, Hawaii. Diversified operations include: an agro-tourism educational retreat center, renewable energy and native restoration projects, an organic/biodynamic farm and orchard, a grass-fed cattle operation, hunting program with community involvement.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned land manager with “hands-on” management and leadership skills; a business orientation, experience in regenerative agriculture, land stewardship and natural resource management; the ability to work in a complex multicultural workplace and community, a working knowledge of ranch systems. Experience in tropical or semi-tropical ecosystems and familiarity with biodynamics is preferred.
Duties of the Manager include administrative and legal oversight of the land, staff management, and representation of the ranch in the community. The Manager oversees department managers and is directly responsible for the retreat center, farm, reforestation and renewable energy programs, conservation projects, livestock and axis deer hunting program.
