I am looking for folks interested in biodynamic farming to grow things here on the land. It is 3.66 acres altogether with a house (rooms are currently available). There is 2.5 acres in fenced flat pasture with plenty of south facing exposure. Around the house there is also land for farming and cold frames or green houses or hoop houses. We have recently had chickens here, as well as milking goats and llamas and a couple of sheep. Up front, there are lovely shadier areas perfect for berries. There is space for bees as well. I will get started on the vermaculture in February and soil building.
There is a large covered patio/lanai that will have an outdoor kitchen cobbled together and is wonderful for shared meals and small classes or workshops, with two long tables, each can seat 10 people. We moved here in the fall and have already met many Westin Price/Sally Fallon people. I am working toward creating a food co-op buying club that can showcase the food directly from the farm.
There is ample storage in a large garage/workshop and covered outdoor areas. Quiet dead-end road just 35 minutes from central east Portland. Easy travelling on 205 to SR500.
