Event Description

In this workshop children will experience an original marionette play inspired by creation stories of the Native Americans. The story begins with an imagination of what happens when Crow brings the seed of corn to humankind. The people tend their gardens and the Sister Corn sustains them. It is an image of respect and awareness of the necessity and interdependence between Nature and the Human Being.  Workshop based on the book Brother Crow, Sister Corn: Traditional American Indian Gardening by Carol Buchanan.
