Please join us, and invite others who may be interested for our annual Spring workshop and hands-on presentation day! This is a great opportunity for those wanting an introduction to Biodynamics, and to become familiar with the methods to enhance your practices on your home garden, farm or vineyard.
The Marbleseed (formerly MOSES) Organic Farming Conference (held at the La Crosse Center) is widely known as the largest organic farming conference in the United States. Every year regenerative and organic farmers from a wide range of farm sizes, experiences, and backgrounds gather to learn the latest in organic farming methods, build community, and shape the future of the organic farming movement.
Organicology brings together contributors, advocates and change-makers from across the organic trade to revolutionize food, agriculture and economic models for the better.
In this 6-day workshop we will study and practice biodynamic principles. We will learn how we can improve the fertility of the soil on a practical level and also work with the spiritual formative forces of the universe, through ceremony and the use of the biodynamic preparations. Truly living and working between Heaven and Earth.
Experience how our small community works together to honor mother earth and our unseen helpers, the elemental and nature beings.
Teachers:
Walter Moora (US), Biodynamic Farmer for 50+years

In this workshop we will explore the many different types of beehives that beekeepers can make, and learn how to work with each of these. We will also weave a Sun Hive together out of rye straw and learn how to make the cow dung and clay paste that we use for extra insulation. We will be learning about and experiencing the different qualities of honey, wax, and propolis; we will dip candles together, and celebrate the growing light of Candlemas time with the queen bees who start laying eggs again at this time of year in anticipation of the season to come!
