A four day workshop dedicated to the Honeybees and Waldorf Schools, in light of the 100-year anniversary (celebration) of Waldorf Schools in the world. This workshop includes pedagogical tools for teaching about the bees and a workbook for bringing bees into the schools. Practical work with the bees is part of the workshop as well as guidance for pollinator planting and transforming the gardens and landscape.
For those who are prepared for the most in-depth and comprehensive training in biodynamic beekeeping in the USA. Participants must have bees!
An opportunity for our advanced students to continue their learning and renew their inspirations with three days of special lectures, deepened beekeeping experiences, artistic work, stirring the preparations, and a St. John’s Festival celebration.
For experienced biodynamic beekeepers – a pedagogical training of Spikenard beekeeping methods and guidance for those who want to deepen their own teaching and further Spikenard Biodynamic Beekeeping in the world.
Participants of this program will have the opportunity to fulfill their training sessions alongside personal, practical sessions that will be scheduled individually. In these sessions, participants will have one-on-one training and evaluations at the beehives with the Spikenard beekeepers.

Fall and Winter Preparation
Learn all about successful overwintering, including how to consolidate hive-space and resources, as well as methods of feeding, wrapping, care of illnesses, and other overwintering considerations. This workshop will touch on seasonal tasks from August to April.
