Monday, June 5, 2017 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm EDT.

Some of the most challenging aspects of beekeeping occur during the honeybee’s natural transition between a gesture of expansion towards the summer solstice and one of contraction as the season progresses from that high point of the sun’s arc. This webinar will cover the aspects of honeybee health specifically in relation to this critical time of the year, when all of the ‘organs’ of this superorganism (the drones, workers, queen, wax) are at their height of performance and the most careful observation of each hive becomes tantamount to their vitality and longevity. Topics include, but not limited to: the swarming impulse, brood health, queen rightness, drone activity, pest pressure, nectar flow, and hive body expansion and contraction.

Space is limited in this interactive video class. Sign up now to reserve your spot!

This webinar will be recorded, and all registered participants will have access to the video recording on the Biodynamic Association website for 6 months after the webinar.
