Dear Jean-Paul,
On behalf of the biodynamic community, I want to take this opportunity to thank you very, very much for your incredible contributions to the BDA over the past nine years, most of them serving as Board President. I know that much of these efforts came at significant personal sacrifice for you and your family. We are so grateful!
Your empathic leadership, unwavering commitment, boundless energy, and infectious enthusiasm made it possible for the BDA to become the strong and vibrant organization it is today. And did I mention your sense of humor?
Your ability to keep us focused on our core mission and your willingness to ask the hard questions helped stabilize and then grow the organization.
We wish you all the best in your new job as Associate Director for Farmer Training at the Hudson Valley Farm Hub in Kingston, New York. We look forward to expanding our relationship and hope to forge a strong partnership between the BDA and the Farm Hub.
Ending on a personal note: it’s been a privilege and unbelievable learning experience to work alongside you on behalf of the BDA. Your friendship and support are an inspiration for me. I am confident and hopeful that we all will be able to stretch and step into the “large footprints” you leave behind,” as we continue to build on the strong foundation we have.
