This online class will consist of an introductory session followed by a week of independent practice and close with an observation and conversation session.
We will turn our attention through drawing towards withering and budding phenomena in plants.
In the activity of drawing, we can document a moment in time; if we draw the same seedling, bud, growing leaf, or flower over a few days, we can become aware of subtle processes that otherwise may remain hidden from us. We can experience not just that the plant is growing/dying but follow how this is happening; we can participate in a specific aspect of this process.
The class will be accessible to all who are willing to dedicate about 15 minutes of independent work each day for a week to the practice.
