Maine Coast Waldorf High School, 57 Desert Rd, Freeport
$30.00 per person. (Refreshments will be provided.)
Biodynamic composting is a living alchemical process that brings together and transforms plant material and animal manure into a potent source of strength and fertility for the garden and farm. In this hands-on workshop, we will learn to create a compost pile that balances the four elements of earth, water, air, and fire, and incorporates the six biodynamic compost preparations, made from yarrow, chamomile, stinging nettle, oak bark, dandelion, and valerian. We will also discuss how to use biodynamic compost to enliven your soil and bring more carbon into the living realm, helping to restore balance to the climate.
