Aging medicinal herb and tree grower is seeking a younger apprentice to learn the craft of growing and take over the business on 5 acres. Located between Marshall and Hot Springs, near the French Broad River in Madison County, NC, the site is now 32 years under permaculture cultivation, with mature stands of Goldenseal. Accommodations are rustic, but well livable. On site are 2,000 sq. ft. Lodge 90% complete and a very rustic 12'x12' forest cabin. The retiring grower will be available for mentoring. The land can become available for sale to an energetic grower who can prove a commitment both to providing high quality medicinal products to customers and to the dignified work of an herbalist.
