Anaichay Biodynamic Community Farm.
Anaichay is a community birthed in gratitude where people can reconnect to the sacredness of the Earth, community and our own being...
...where the Earth has rights equal to human beings...
...as the Eagle and the Condor fly as one.
...over a self-sustaining community.
We aspire to be a small community in deep connection with the sacredness of the land. We are inspired by the teachings of Rudlof Steiner and wish to create a learning hub, an example of how we can live in harmony with the earth. In addition to being an intentional community, our main emphasis will be teaching Biodynamic farming practices suitable for Latin America. We will offer internships and workshops and provide housing for those wishing to experience this lifestyle for longer stays.
Our land is located in the beautiful mountains of Southern Ecuador. It is an ancient sacred site, bounded by a river and surrounded by mountains. It is a very healing place and visitors often comment on the peace and quiet that they experience. It consists of four hectares (9 acres) of irrigated land and a 270 hectare (650 acre)mountain that we are reforesting.
We have perfect weather, we grow our food all year long, have great friends both expats and locals and it's very affordable. We are a little isolated from the turmoil of the world, yet very involved with community projects. If you are looking for a sustainable community, inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner this might be the place for you.
We have the land and a small group ready to start. Now we are open to individuals or families, looking for community.. Maybe folks that are ready to retire, or looking for a purpose and a safe and affordable place to live. We do have four people ready to start, yet we are in the beginning stages of creating our community. The founder, Walter Moora has lived here for twenty years and founded the Finca Sagrada community.
At this time, Anaichay does not have housing, but our neighbors at Finca Sagrada (fincasagrada.com ) often have housing available. If interested we recommend you visit or even stay in beautiful Vilcabamba for a while.
If interested please go to our website Spiritland.blog Here you can learn all about Anaichay, the work we do within the wider community and download Walter Moora’s (the owner of the land) book, A Farmer’s Love.
